1. Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how 2KOON, which operates the website 2koon.com (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information when you visit. 2KOON is a static, informational website, published in Persian and English, that shows a consensus foreign-exchange and gold benchmark aggregated every hour from independent public sources.
The site is deliberately minimal: it exists to display prices, not to collect data about you. This policy covers all visitors to 2koon.com and describes exactly what limited information is processed when you use the site. It does not apply to any third-party website you may reach by following a link or an advertisement.
2. Summary — what we do and do not collect
To be clear up front:
- There are no user accounts, no sign-in or registration, no contact forms, no newsletter, no shopping, and no payments on this site.
- We do not use Google Analytics or any other web-analytics service, and we set no first-party tracking cookies of our own.
- The only information involved comes from three sources: (a) Google AdSense and its third-party advertising partners, which serve the ads on the site; (b) Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site; and (c) ordinary web-server logs.
The rest of this policy simply explains those three in plain language.
3. Who we are and how to contact us
This site is operated under the name 2KOON (2koon.com). For any question about this policy, or to make a data-protection or privacy request, you can reach us by email at Contact@2koon.com. This is the only channel for privacy and rights requests; there is no form, phone line, or account portal. We are not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and have not appointed one.
4. Information we collect
Given the minimal design above, the information involved is limited to the following:
- Server access logs — like almost every website, our servers automatically record standard technical details of each request: your IP address, the browser/device information your browser sends (user-agent), the date and time, and the page or file requested. These are used only to operate and secure the site.
- Advertising and cookie data — Google and its advertising partners collect data through the ads shown on the site, which may include advertising and cookie identifiers, device and interaction data, and approximate location derived from your IP address. See section 6.
- Content-delivery and security data — our provider Cloudflare processes your IP address and may set a strictly-necessary security cookie to protect the site. See section 9.
We do not collect your name, email address, account credentials, profile, order history, or payment details, because the site has no feature that would ask for them. We do not collect sensitive personal information or precise (GPS) location, and we do not buy or receive personal information about you from data brokers — everything above comes directly from your own visit.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website — or a third party such as an advertiser — stores in your browser. On this site there are exactly three categories of data technology, and we set no analytics or first-party tracking cookies of our own:

All non-essential cookies on this site are third-party advertising cookies. The consent banner stores your choice in your browser’s local storage as a single strictly-necessary flag, only to remember it; this is not used to track you. You can change or withdraw your advertising-cookie choice at any time using the consent banner on the site, and through the controls in sections 7 and 8.
6. Advertising: Google AdSense and third-party vendors
This site shows advertising through Google AdSense (our Google publisher ID is ca-pub-6677365919252714). Google and other advertising vendors are independent third parties that serve those ads. In Google’s own words:
- “Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites.”
- “Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.”
As a result of ads being served, third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, and may build a profile of your interests across the different sites you visit. Whether the ads you see are personalized or non-personalized depends on your consent choice (see sections 7 and 8); non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate reporting. 7. Your advertising choices and opt-out
You control the advertising cookies described above. In Google’s words: “Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.” “Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.” The available controls are:
- Google Ads Settings — google.com/settings/ads (now part of My Ad Center).
- Digital Advertising Alliance (US) — www.aboutads.info/choices.
- Your Online Choices (EEA) — youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies.
Because the site keeps no profile of you, it does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals beyond the consent banner and the tools listed above.
8. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising cookies that require consent are intended to be set only after you agree, and where you do not agree, only non-personalized or limited advertising is served to you. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent banner on the site.
Note: a fully compliant setup for these regions uses a Google-certified Consent Management Platform. Our current banner is an interim control that limits ad personalization until you agree; a certified consent tool is being added.
9. Content delivery and security (Cloudflare)
This site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, a content-delivery and security provider. To do this, Cloudflare processes your IP address and may set strictly-necessary security cookies (see section 5). This is used for bot and denial-of-service mitigation, abuse prevention, and reliable delivery of the site — not for advertising or analytics. Cloudflare’s own handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
10. How we use information and legal bases
We use the limited information above only to: (1) display advertising, including personalized advertising where you have consented; (2) secure the site and prevent abuse, and deliver it reliably (Cloudflare); and (3) operate and secure our servers (access logs). We do not use it for analytics, content personalization, profiling of you by us, or marketing.
Where the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are: consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for advertising cookies and personalized ads, which you may withdraw at any time; and our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in keeping the site secure, available, and functioning, for the Cloudflare security processing and server logs — interests we have balanced against your rights and consider not to override them, given how limited the data is. We do not rely on a contract or a legal-obligation basis, because neither applies to simply viewing the site.
11. Sharing, recipients and international transfers
The only recipients of data through this site are Google (AdSense and its third-party advertising and measurement partners) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security). We may also disclose information where required to do so by law or a valid legal request. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with any affiliate, group company, or marketing partner.
Google and Cloudflare are based in the United States, so data handled by them may be processed there or in other countries. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension and the Swiss-US framework), and both Google and Cloudflare rely on Standard Contractual Clauses as an additional safeguard, so that transfers out of your country carry recognized protections. This may be relevant if you visit from Iran, the wider region, or the diaspora.
12. Data retention
Server access logs are kept only for as long as needed for security and operations, and are then deleted or anonymized. Advertising and Cloudflare cookies expire on their own schedules, set by Google and Cloudflare respectively (see the lifetimes in section 5, and their policies for detail). Because we hold no accounts or profiles, there is no long-term store of personal data on our side to retain.
13. Your data-protection rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing (including to interest-based advertising), and to withdraw your consent to advertising cookies at any time (via the consent banner). Data portability does not generally apply here, given how little data is held. To exercise a right, email Contact@2koon.com. Please note that because we hold so little identifiable information, we may not always be able to link a request to a specific individual.
If you are in the UK or EEA and believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, your local Data Protection Authority.
14. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, this section applies to you. The only categories of personal information involved are Identifiers (such as IP address and online/device/cookie identifiers) and Internet or other electronic network activity (interaction with the ads and site). We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information or precise geolocation, so the right to limit their use does not arise, and the site is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 16.
Serving personalized (cross-context behavioral) advertising can count as “sharing” under California law. Where that occurs, the Identifiers and activity categories above are shared with advertising partners for that purpose. You can exercise your right to opt out via “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” using the consent banner and the advertising controls in section 7 (which set non-personalized ads for you), and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. As a California consumer you also have the right to know/access, delete, and correct your information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 15. Additional information
Children’s privacy. This site is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or under 13 where that lower age applies).
Automated decisions. We make no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Advertising partners may perform ad-related profiling; you can control this through Google’s Ads Settings (section 7).
Links to other sites. Advertisements and other links may lead to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their own policies.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time; any update is posted on this page with a revised date. Please check back periodically.
